JAMES SAMPSON
Technical Curriculum ManagerProfile: James Sampson
As the Technical Curriculum Manger at Zero Carbon Futures, I have worked across the low carbon agenda for over eight years and bring a wealth of technical knowledge and training experience around the low carbon transport and construction built environment sectors. I am responsible for investigating future green curriculum skills and training opportunities through close development work with SMEs, industry and professional awarding bodies.
Favourite project
One particular project that I really enjoyed working on was HyTrEc where I was responsible for the design and development of a Hydrogen Awareness qualification which was endorsed by BOC in 2015.
What I’m working on now
Currently, I am developing learning programmes which are looking at energy saving systems, EV infrastructure and EV batteries.
“Having worked on a number of low carbon projects I have learned that what I like most is the variety of new technologies and the type of environments I am exposed to.”
Finally…
Living in rural Northumberland, I enjoy hiking, backpacking and mountain biking …..far removed from city life. Unfortunately, my travel time to work means that I can’t quite drive an EV yet.
Our look ahead at the EV industry in 2018
As is tradition, Zero Carbon Futures takes a look ahead at 2018. Who will be the movers and shakers of the year ahead? We’ve got our thoughts on the ones to watch.
